The throw remains consistent throughout the candle's life—you won't experience that fade-out some candles develop as they burn down. For larger open-concept spaces, we recommend burning two candles in different areas to ensure even scent coverage.
We release Fresh Balsam as part of our winter collection, typically arriving in stores and online in late October. Due to overwhelming demand, it usually remains in stock through February or until supplies run out.
Many customers stock up during the season since availability can be limited in spring and summer. We do occasionally bring back customer favorites for limited summer runs, so signing up for our email list ensures you'll know if Fresh Balsam returns outside the regular winter window.
Our candles are made with pet-safe ingredients and lead-free wicks. However, we always recommend keeping burning candles out of reach of pets and children, and never leaving them unattended.

The key to preventing tunneling is achieving a full melt pool during your first burn. Light all three wicks and let the candle burn for 2-3 hours until the wax melts completely to the edges of the glass.
This creates a memory ring that the candle will follow for all future burns. Our three-wick design makes this easier than single-wick candles—you'll typically see a full melt pool within 90 minutes. Always burn on a level, heat-resistant surface and keep away from drafts that can cause uneven melting.
While we don't currently offer a jar exchange program, we encourage repurposing your Fresh Balsam vessel. The glass is dishwasher-safe once all wax is removed—simply freeze the candle for a few hours and the remaining wax will pop out cleanly.
