Vanilla Bean 3-Wick Candle
Our White Barn Vanilla Bean candle is hand-poured with a proprietary blend of natural essential oils and food-grade fragrance. We source Madagascar bourbon vanilla extract and blend it with rich cream and a hint of caramelized sugar for a fragrance that’s never cloying—just warm, genuine vanilla the way nature intended.
Each 14.5 oz candle features three lead-free cotton wicks for even heat distribution and a consistent scent throw. The soy-paraffin wax blend burns cleanly for 25 to 45 hours, filling medium to large rooms without overwhelming smaller spaces. Whether you’re unwinding after work or setting the mood for weekend guests, this candle delivers the comfort of fresh-baked cookies without any artificial sweetness.
What makes this candle special

Fragrance profile and throw strength
We engineered the White Barn Vanilla Bean candle to smell like pure extract—not a synthetic substitute. The top notes open with sweet cream and a whisper of caramelized sugar. Mid-burn, you’ll detect the full-bodied warmth of Madagascar bourbon vanilla, layered with soft tonka bean. The base stays true to classic vanilla without veering into cake-frosting territory.
Our three-wick design pushes fragrance into every corner of a 400-square-foot room within 30 minutes. Cold throw is intentionally mild so the candle doesn’t dominate shelves before you light it. Once burning, expect a medium-strong hot throw that layers well with baking spices or citrus from an vanilla bean room spray if you want to amplify the scent between rooms.

Wax composition and wick care
We blend domestically grown soy wax with cosmetic-grade paraffin to balance clean burning and scent throw. Pure soy can be too soft for three-wick candles, while straight paraffin sometimes leaves soot. Our 60/40 soy-paraffin ratio delivers the cleanest burn we’ve tested in a multi-wick format.
Each wick is twisted from unbleached cotton and secured with a lead-free metal tab. Before lighting, check that all three wicks stand upright and trimmed to the same height. If one wick burns faster than the others, extinguish the candle, let it cool, then gently straighten the lagging wick and trim the taller ones.
What’s included with your candle
Every Vanilla Bean candle ships in a protective box with a magnetic closure—perfect for gifting or seasonal storage between burns. Inside you’ll find the embossed glass vessel, a care card with first-light tips, and a small wick-trimming guide printed on recycled cardstock.
We do not include a separate lid. The vessel rim is wide enough to snuff flames with a standard candle snuffer or our stainless steel bell snuffer (sold separately). After the wax is spent, hand-wash the glass jar with warm soapy water and reuse it for cotton swabs, jewelry, or succulent planters.

Common questions about our Vanilla Bean candle
You can expect 25 to 45 hours of burn time depending on care and environment. For maximum longevity, trim the three wicks to ¼ inch before each lighting and let the top wax pool fully to the edges during every session. Limiting burns to four hours at a time also helps preserve the wax and prevent wick mushrooming.
Yes. Our three-wick design delivers medium-strong throw suitable for rooms up to 400 square feet. Cold throw is mild when unlit, but once burning, the Madagascar vanilla fragrance circulates quickly. If you have an open floor plan, consider lighting a second candle in an adjacent zone or pairing it with a coordinating room spray for layered coverage.
We use a 60/40 blend of soy wax and cosmetic-grade paraffin. This ratio provides a cleaner burn than pure paraffin while offering better scent throw and structural stability than 100% soy. The wax is blended with natural essential oils and food-grade vanilla fragrance for an authentic aroma.
This candle does not come with a lid. We recommend using a candle snuffer or gently blowing out the flames after tilting the wicks into the melted wax to prevent smoking. Never use water to extinguish a candle, as it can crack the hot glass and cause wax to splatter.
Yes. We incorporate Madagascar bourbon vanilla extract alongside food-grade fragrance oils and natural essential oils. This combination delivers the rich, creamy aroma of real vanilla beans while ensuring consistent scent performance throughout the entire burn.
Let the entire top surface melt to the glass edge on the first burn—usually 2-3 hours. This creates a wax memory that encourages even melting on future sessions. Always trim all three wicks to ¼ inch before relighting, and burn the candle on a level, heat-resistant surface away from drafts.
Absolutely. Once ½ inch of wax remains, stop burning and freeze the jar for two hours. The leftover wax will harden and pop out easily. Wash the glass with warm soapy water, dry it completely, and repurpose it for storage, planters, or decorative use. The embossed design makes a beautiful catch-all on vanities or nightstands.
